Stepping Stones — Located in Livingston, this program serves children from birth to 9 years old who have Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Volunteers must be available September to June and be willing to commit one morning or afternoon each week. The average time commitment is two to three hours per week. A summer six week extended school year involves volunteers 14 years and older who commit to a least one day per week. After School Recreation — Meets from 3-6 p.m. on weekdays. A commitment of one day per week is required. Camp Hope — Seven-week summer day camp. Must be at least 14 years old, and willing to commit to one or two weeks. Community Recreation — Activities take place on weekday evenings and weekends. Volunteers can sign up for activities they enjoy. Residential settings — Volunteer opportunities are customized to meet the needs of the residents and the volunteer. Adult day programs — Volunteers are needed at our eight program sites. The centers meet weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Candle Lighters — Volunteers are needed to help raise money through special events. Board of Directors — Our nominating committee welcomes new candidates to review for possible recommendation to the ARC Board.
