The ARC Essex Foundation is a non-profit corporation consisting of business and community leaders, as well as parents of disabled children, all dedicated to the necessity of providing a strong financial base for the broad variety of services required by persons with developmental disabilities. Its mission is to raise, manage, invest and distribute funds from donations, contributions and other sources to support the services provided by The ARC of Essex County.
You can help by supporting events sponsored by the Foundation. Each September, the Foundation sponsors a Golf Classic. Individuals and businesses are invited to participate by playing or by being sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels. There are also opportunities to donate prizes for our live and silent auctions.
As costs and expenses increase, it becomes more and more difficult to meet the growing need for community services. To remedy this situation, the ARC Essex Foundation is reaching out to individuals and corporations for financial support. All donations are directed toward the support of the vital services provided by the ARC of Essex County:
- Adult day programs
- Education
- Family support
- Infant and early childhood intervention
- Recreation
- Respite care
- Supported employment
